South Portland had 26,498 people at the 2020 Census, making it Maine's fourth-largest city, with about 12,400 housing units. Its neighborhoods include Knightville, Ferry Village, Willard Beach, Redbank, Thornton Heights, Meetinghouse Hill, Pleasantdale, Cash Corner and Ligonia.
